Determination of GPR survey effectiveness for diagnosing parameters of steeply dipping thin bodies of ‘empty’ rocks in an array of ferruginous quartzites, with detailing by thickness and depth.
Result
The observed secant dikes in non-oxidized ferruginous quartzites are weakly contrasted against the background of the host rocks. The revealed search signs of dikes during profiling are more contrasting when conducting GPR survey using meter antennas.
